Unsatisfying Romantic Life

Name: P.B. (proxy)

Issue: Unsatisfying romantic life, unrealistically high standards for marriage partner, unwillingness to commit to a good relationship always hoping for better, but never finding, surviving not thriving (35 Hds)

6/4/09-L4-1G

Visual: Wagon wheel (not moving)
Intent: To move, carry goods from on place to another, mission
Why? To serve
Who? Humanity
What is going on? P. needs to sense how his relationship with E. serves humanity, until he does, it won't move.

Understanding needed: P. needs to see how in serving E. and developing a good relationship with her, he is in fact serving humanity, in that as she becomes a better person, she will make the world a better place. His example will inspire her.

New Visual: A powerful king bowing before a powerless queen.
Willing to transform? Yes but what if queen doesn't appreciate gesture and turns around and cuts the kings head off?

Remember: POWERFUL king, powerless queen – the queen can do no harm to the king A) God would not permit it unless it was best for the king B) The king is an eternal being that cannot be killed C) Any suffering that is inflicted is chosen by the king as his act of service (much like Christ - “No man takes my life, I lay it down willingly”). Think of wife as the humanity you have come to serve.

Result: Wheel transformed through various stages to a frog with a chefs hat. Eventually it became a king in armor, wielding a sword which gave him great pleasure and a feeling of power, but he was reminded that he was here to serve, not be served, here to express his divine self, through providing the world with guidance and wisdom. His sword was to execute justice, not take vengeance. He was hesitant to bow before the queen, an act he considered humiliating. Then he was reminded that the queen represented the humanity he had come to serve. He bowed before the queen. The queen was delighted and gladly and joyfully became a loyal subject.

When asked if the transformation was complete: Not quite. As the king bowed, the queen decided to test the king and slapped the king. The king didn't so much much as flinch, but said, “I've come here to serve you” with a gleam of sparkle in the eye. The queen slapped the king again, still with the same response. The queen spit on the king. He couldn't have seemed to care less, but bowed with the same response and divine sparkle in the eye. This revealed more than anything that the king was truly divine. Earthly insults could not shake or rattle his cosmic existence.

Q1-4: Yes
Q5: Love me
